I need help. I was supposed to go to New York in the middle of October with a friend of mine. I bought already bought the bus tickets and tickets to see a few shows while I'm there, so I've already spent quite a bit of money on this trip.

This past weekend, my friend decided he couldn't come due to school obligations. I completely understood and decided that I could handle making the trip alone.

The problem I have is that I can't find a hotel. There are plenty of hotels available in my price range, but all the ones I've looked at won't allow someone under 21 to make a reservation. This wouldn't have been a problem before since my friend is 21, but I don't get it. I'm turning 21 in 5 months, I have my own credit card, I'm not looking to trash the place and rob them blind; I just need somewhere to crash for the night.

So, since there are so many here that either live in or frequently visit New York, I figured maybe y'all had some suggestions of a place I can stay.

Actually, if you have a credit card under your name, most hotels will still allow you to check in if you're under 21.

(PS. Which hotels are you finding within your price range? PM me.)
