The great tragedy is that RATNER'S Kosher Dairy Restaurant on Delancy is gone forever. I loved their "vegetable cutlet", kasha varnishkes, potato pancakes, blintzes, onion rolls, etc.

Thank goodness Yonah Shimmell's bakery on Houston still makes authentic knishes (BAKED, not deep fried like the bogus ones sold by hot dog vendors).

Let's add Burritoville to the list. There are multiple locations, but I ordered mine online and had it delivered. It's not specifically a vegetarian restaurant, but it has more options than some restaurants that are. They include tofu and TVP options on most of the menu items, and even offer a choice of soy cheese or soy sour cream.

My burrito was wonderful!
