I missed out but was told we had our own Naked Cowboy on Franklin Street today, complete with guitar, cowboy boots, cowboy hat and white briefs.
Darn! I would be on short lunches this week so I can go home early and I didn’t even have my digital camera with me if I had be able to go have a look!
If he sticks around until next week, well—we’ll see or not!

It's a well proven fact that folks whom one might perceive to be living on the streets manage to get South for the winter.
I know this because I'm from way, way south and saw this frequently particularly in the winter months.
Don't laugh, it's true.

No reports of any sightings today and I'm not the least bit surprised about the migration.
True story:
A friend told me about this "homeless" woman begging on the street. "I would like to give you five dollars for a meal but I only have a ten," she told the lady, "And I have to give five dollars to my son for school."
"That's ok, honey", the beggar woman replied, whipping out a roll of money about an inch thick, "I can make change."
Duh!!!

Haha. My friend's mom had this woman pass out in front of her in NY, and she told my friend's mom: "Please, I was fired a week ago and I haven't had any food or water in so long. Please give me some money?" And my friend's mom didn't have any to give. So the lady went on her way, and we watched her go down the street and try the same stint on someone else. She just passed out in front of someone and starting asking again.
Scary. Ack, I'm off to voice lessons. Bye for now.
