re: Nanny Reunion

I'm not. They have a lot of nerve saying it's a reunion when the best character on the show isn't even going to be there. In fact, I saw a write-up for the reunion and it mentions every character and the name of every actor playing them. All except one. Did you know that there was NO butler on THE NANNY?

re: Nanny Reunion

Mamie, he probably couldn't be there because of conflicts with Cage aux Folles. Still, odd that they don't mention him at all. Maybe on the actual show they'll say something about why he isn't there?

re: Nanny Reunion

He wasn't in La Cage when they filmed it. I know some folks involved in the show. It took 1 week to make the whole thing. It was done while he was in "The Frogs". For some reason a decision was made that it had to be filmed this one particular week. (The scenes with the cast took 1 day.)

Personally I don't think he wanted to do it and by filming it when they did, they had a nice 'out'. It just really ticked me off when I read this article about every one of them - and absolutely no mention of Niles. He was the funniest thing on the show. In fact, this article went on to say that the funniest dialog was the constant battling between CC and Fran. Geesh!

re: Nanny Reunion

I totally misunderstood this thread title... I was all excited as I used to be an au pair and I was looking forward to seeing all my nanny friends.
