Tell me a little bit about the city...size, shape, etc. I am interested.
I am leaving at 10 PM this evening to go to Belmont University for a show choir competition. I will return Sunday.

I lived in Nashville for a few years. Theater ain't so great in this town. The best area is the West End around Vanderbilt University. If you get a chance, try and eat at Monell's Restaurant. One of the best in the city.
Nice city... Lots of good restaurants/entertainment venues downtown. Also fun clubs, etc.
Make sure to check out Fox17 News, weekday mornings. Look for my girl, Kelly! She's my bestfriend...

I wish I could do stuff on my own...but it is a bunch of high school students, so we have an itinerary. I won't get to check out your friend because the first time I will be at the hotel in the morning is on Saturday.
Big city?

Decent size, but not that big. It is the capital of TN.

Cool...I just love cities in general.
Love to travel.
Love to be on my own.

Try and get your chaperones to take you to Centennial Park to see the Parthenon.

What a gorgeous city!
I had such a wonderful time and would love to go back, minus the chaperones. We recorded a CD at Studio B, which sounds wonderful. I had the tour guide take me by the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, which I was interested in seeing because I follow all of the national tours.
On the way, I passed right through Columbus, Cincinnati, and Louisville. I told everyone that I would travel there each time when I go on tour.
Cincinnati looks great...I can't wait to go down there and see LSOH in April.

Glad you liked it. TPAC has three theaters inside. The middle sized theater is nice. The biggest one gets all the Broadway touring shows. Several years ago, I saw a Les Miz tour there. (The stage was too small and they had to cut the set down). The smallest theater is a blackbox which was intended to be a tv studio. It never really materialized as a tv studio and unfortunately the acoustics are horrible.
