Natalie Cole is in desperate need of a Kidney translplant asap. She will be on Larry King tonight.

I am sure she doesn't. Poor thing. Saw her in concert just a few months ago and she was exquisite. ( did I spell that right? ) Got tickets to see her this summer at the Bowl as part of my subscription. I hope she pulls through.

Maybe she can sell her Grammys that she shouldn't have won since her life was so messed up with drugs, as she said about Amy Winehouse:

?I don?t think she deserved it,? previous Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole said. ?I think she needs to get her life together first, and then get the awards later."

Cole also called Winehouse ?crazy,? and complained that we are teaching youngsters that they can get rewarded for bad behavior.

"I think she has a great talent, but I don't agree with the Grammys giving her those nods. I think it sends the wrong message, that even in the midst of her stupor of drugs she can get nominated for all these awards. It's a slap in the face to musicians and artists who work very hard that they turn around and give it to someone who really obviously doesn't have a grasp of what she has. I've been in this business over 25 years and I sacrificed five years of my own life on drugs and almost lost my life because of it. So I take great offense to almost see someone getting glory out of being in the position that they're in - she needs to get her life together and embrace her craft."

Natalie's kidney transplanet surgery happened earlier today and it was a success. Her concert tour that was to have started in June, has been pushed back to November.
