Posted: 11/22/04 at 12:33pmI saw this Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly suprised. I am not a Nick Cage fan, so I saw this against my will. But I was resonably entertained, and the movie didn't drag. All in all, i'd reccomend it as a good family flick with some cool history stuff thrown in.

I'm not a Nic Cage fan at all (with the exception of "Peggy Sue got married") but this actually looks like a fun movie.
Fun in that "Stargate"/sci-fi/popcorn=sort of way....

If you let yourself suspend disbelief and go along for the ride, it IS a lot of fun.
Are there any theaters in NYC that offer DLP projection?

"Wasn't near as good as I heard it was going to be"

ugghh..this movie does not appeal to me at all. I'm not a Cage fan, but I wouldn't avoid seeing a movie just because he's in it. But this one just seems a little too hokey for me..
explosions are cool though.

Posted: 11/22/04 at 9:08pmoriginally, I didn't want to go see it, becuase it didn't look all that appealing to me, but when I went, I was pleasantly suprised, and I really liked it. Parts were cliche, but for the most part, it was a very original idea. I thought it was awesome, and it's a definite family-ish holiday season movie.
