Near Misses

Well, I had an abso-frickin-loutely wonderful day today. I was taking my trash to the dumspter when my brake light came on. Fortunately, I live only a street away. When I went to pull into my carport, my brakes wouldn't work...so I slowly cruised past said carport and in slo-mo hit a brace holding up the mailboxes roof and moved (but didn't bend) it. Fortunately, I am OK (shaken up), and the car has a bump/scrape. And no brakes.

I am thanking whoever it is up above that I was not on a highway.

Anyone else out there have near-misses???

Ouch...hope you were OK. My car now has a scratch across the hood and a white scrape on the left front bumper. The car is 10 years old, so it just adds character to the old thing. :)
