I'm directing a one-act play and would like to buy little opening-night gifts for my cast. The play is about jewelry theifs and it is very silly, anyone have any sugggestions of cheap things I could get that would relate to the show? I was thinking something like gummy-diamonds but I'm not sure if they exist....

What about plastic rings and jewelery you can buy at a party store. Or ring pops.

Clearly, I have a lot of time on my hands.

You can get rings that have giant diamond-shaped hard candy on them. Delicious.
Or what about those candy necklaces?

Duh, ringpops!!! Thanks I don't know why I didn't think of that myself, anyway please keep the suggestions coming as I am completely unable to think on my own now. :)

Dollar tree... Tons of fake jewelry and CANDY jewelry! I just got everyone an M*azing Candy bar and wrote them a little note when I directed. Then again there was no point to my one-act so I could go for a theme.

Just in case you're writing the press releases, too, greeneyes:

jewelry or jewellery.
thief.
As far as gifts, have you considered ringpops, available by the gazillion at Sams or Costco? My daughter's favorite for flavorful glamming.
Mardi Gras Bead typed things ?
You could give them free-round trip plane tickets to anywhere in the country! Oh..wait...that was only the fans at the last Dallas Mavericks home game of the regular season....
I say go with the ring pop idea or be creative and create a refrigerator magnet that either has a fake ring on it or some spangles and jewels as a momento that will last a bit longer than candy. Make sure the title of the show is on there as well if possible.

I agree with something more lasting than candy. Inexpensive key chain with some type of bling fob perhaps.
