Schiester...Scheister...Scheisskopf...whatever.
The cut-and-paste job had to do with their email replies, which were their stock responses just pasted into the email whether they answered your question or not. But I got two different stories from them. 1) They WON'T return any non-Netflix discs they receive and 2) They are UNABLE to return any non-Netflix discs they receive. When I ask what they do with the discs they receive that they know do not belong to them, they refuse to answer the question. I cancelled my account immediately.
I also have sent them ny discs by mistake and they have always alerted me and sent it back.
Ah...I see...I was wondering about sending in the wrong disc a few days ago--now I'll never make that mistake
I don't see how ondemand is going to replace netflix unless they A)start a subscription service for unlimited movies for the same price as netflix, and B)VASTLY expand the selection available. I don't have any experience with Blockbuster.com, but I LOVE netflix!
As for On Demand, most of the films are not in Widescreen format and as jasonf pointed out, it is much more expensive per film. I don't like the internet download services for movies because I would rather watch the movie on my TV than on my computer. Though next year, my TV and computer will hopefully be intergrated. But the selection and price are still not as good as renting DVDs by mail.
