New Musical - 'I Come For Love' - TODAY at 2pm and 8pm

Just FYI for anyone in the SoCal area who might be interested: I'll be doing a staged reading of a new musical called "I Come For Love" up at the Fred Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks on the 25th. (Two performances, at 2pm and 8pm respectively.)

The show is being expertly directed by Stan Chandler, and the cast is pretty fantastic:

Erika...I adore you...but that title. You know what to expect around here. I've already through of half a dozen responses as well as the gay porn take on the title.

hehehe... Yes well, I didn't write it. And it's supposed to be funny. (It's a spoof on 50's sci-fi movies, and the leading lady - a buxom female alien - is the one who repeatedly utters that phrase.)

Anyway, I'm just so pleased to be in a cast that's so full of wonderful B'way performers.

Just bumping 'cause it's today. Tickets are available at the door. Just walk up to the box office.

There will be audience "talk-backs" with the authors and cast members, etc. after the presentations. Should be a great experience.

Wish we could get there, but just too much going on!

Hope it all goes well - and that producers decide to mount a production that goes all the way to Broadway (with this cast intact, of course )
