I remember New Orleans when I went cross country by bus in 1974
I loved it but not the oppresive heat (July) . I am reading a novel now (Crusader's Cross) which takes place in & around there. It brings back memories of places I went te. There are a whole series of novels that take place there with the same protagonist. The author is James Lee Burke. They are quite good & I recommend them to all.
I would go back once everything is back to normal. Hopefully, that will be soon but it does look grim now

Oh, well, I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon. Now I'm climbing back into my warm bath of nostalgia.
Why, I remember when a pickel in the barrel cost 2 cents! I wasn't knee-high to a knuckle bone, but I remember it as if 'twas just the other day.

What kept you, Namo ?
It is like a shark trolling the waters looking for a swimmer the way you wait for me to post, on any subject , so you can go off on me.
If it makes you happy, knowing I have no idea what you are saying, knock yourself out. Enjoy. If it is therapuetic for you by all means do it
