Anywho, I am currently sat once again in the first class lounge at JFK (it pays to have connections. I phoned my friend yesterday and was like "leaving tomorrow, bitter, do something, thanks") and abusing their free internet service.
DGrant, when are you in NYC again? If things work out with the job that is still pending with me, I could be back in NYC by early December (just in time for the cold). That's if they say yes. Which they will. Right?

What fun. I am finally back in the UK. The journey took a somewhat epic 16 hours start to finish. I was happy to be in a big and comfy business class seat but my gypsy travel curse didn't desert me, oh no. Between woman with the gimpy leg and apparently small bladder who climbed over me many times to use the bathroom and the man snoring louder than my iPod could possibly go, sleep was not much to be had. But I was comfy and they kept bringing food round, so I can't complain.
