Lawmakers never bother to think that this will also create less jobs for those who need an entry-level job in "certain areas".
"Support for a fast food ban in New York is growing among city lawmakers after the Los Angeles City Council passed an unprecedented bill Tuesday that would make the addition of new fast food restaurants in certain areas of the city illegal for at least one year."

liberals are so stupid. poor people in poor area can only afford cheap fast food. that is why there are so many of them. if they could afford quality food they would live quality areas

beside poor people LIKE to eat unhealthy food. I bet if you give them the choice between whole grains with orangic sprouts or a big Mac. they will choose the BIG MAC

those people in south la are some of the poorest people int he city and they can only afford fast food. now what are they going to eat? liberal never think these things through. the reason they have so many fast food place per capita is that poor people like fast food. it makes them feel full. restricting the building of more fast food places will not make poor people smart enough have a healthy diet. it will only make the hungry and lazier.
liberal are ruinning this country.
THEY SHOULD HAVE THE FAST FOOD CORPORATIONS TAKE OVER THE ENTIRE RUNNING OF SOUTH LA. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!

Now who going to hire these unemployable people? the nanny state? they are lucky to get minimum wage jobs because it probably the only real jobs most of these people will ever get. it is better than selling crack.
We should be PAYING the corporations for keeping the people off the streets an giving they a chance to earn minimum wage(which is a decent wage if you don't spend you money on malt liquor, crack and $200 nike shoes).
COPORATIONS SHOULD JUST TAKE OVER. THE COUNTRY WOULD RUN BETTER
