Newark Mayor Cory Booker spent the day helping people shovel out

I love following his twitter. He seems like he really gets it and genuinely tries to help the people of his city.

He spent the day driving around with a shovel, helping residents shovel out, and vowed not to go to bed tonight until "the job was done."

He just strikes me as someone really genuine. I wish there were people like him in politics.

Michael Bloomberg was far too busy pretending that everything was just jim-dandy fine in NYC to acknowledge that anyone of any importance was being inconvenienced.
