Yesterday Nicky Hayden won the Moto GP motorcycle race at Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. It was really awesome. He had the best track record even beating the wonderful Italian rider Valentino Rossi, who came in third place. To see it in person was a site. Quite amazing. Just amazing.
Driving down and seeing other places besides my hometown and watching a motorcycle race with some of the best riders in the world was just such an incredible experience. There is noting like being there and hearing the buzz and hum of those motorcycles. In the end you don't really care who wins, it's just the experience of seeing the race and being there that is just fantastic.
So it was a lot of fun and got a little sunburned but it was worth it to see Nicky Hayden win.
