Caught this yesterday and would mark this as a must see for Jake Gyllenhaal. Jake is in every frame and is giving a fantastic performance.

It was also a pleasure to see Rene Russo back onscreen. The film definitely reminded me a bit of Network a bit, but darker.

I think this is a case of a better performance than film, but absolutely see it for Jake.

dave - damn. you sold me. Like Network, but darker? That is right up my proverbial alley. So, if you're comparing it to Network, I'm taking it that there's perhaps more humor in this film than the trailer would suggest.

@Horsetears, there are definitely shades of Network in it. There is actually great deal of dark, dark humor in this movie. I've even heard some bill it as a comedy, though I don't think that is quite how I would describe it.
