Has anyone seen this movie? It seems to be getting good notices.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I saw it Thursday night. I really enjoyed it and thought that the acting was very good all across the board. I don't know how many people will appreciate it though, as it doesn't have a traditional plot. The film is made up of about 20 minute glimpses into the lives of nine women. In all except the last scene, there is at least one character from a previous scene. I would be interested to hear what other people thought the director was trying to say with this movie. The only real point to it I could see was to make the audience feel many different emotions, and then to send them off in peace. I haven't been able to come up with a real message. But I still enjoyed it thoroughly, as I'm totally okay with movies not having obvious points to them, lol. It definitely leaves you with something to think about, though, which I believe is something art should do.
