Nine and JCS help xx

Right, i think i'm trying too hard to find a perfect song.
We have auditions for Jesus Christ Superstar and Nine in a few weeks and i'm starting to go a little crazy over choises.

I think i'm singing 'Easy As Life' from Aida for JCS, but i'm thinking it will be too obvious a choice.

For nine, i was originally going to go for Carla and sing Flaemchen from Grand Hotel, but i had a chat with my singing teacher yesterday and he told me to go for Luisa (which as much as i love carla is a more suited choice in fairness).

Now i'm stuck...

I've searched the boards and will keep looking for things, but if anyone has any suggestions i would be really greatful. If not, thanking you anyway for taking a look at yet another 'help' thread :)
