What are some movies during which it would be inappropriate to eat popcorn? I'll start it off with The Passion of the Christ.

I thought popcorn was VERY appropriate during Passion of The Christ. Candy corn was even better.....

I should have been eating popcorn during that mindless piece of crap.

It might be rather weird to eat popcorn during a screening of Triumph Of The Will.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know I've been to several movies, been all happy with my popcorn, then didn't want to eat it beacuse I felt like "everyone is sitting here crying/scared.. but I'm so hungry..."

Thought of one- I felt strange eating popcorn during several parts of Love Actually. I love that movie :)

Howard's End.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Shoah, Schindler's List, anything Biblical or dealing with the Holocaust. Seems to be the theme at the moment.

I don't like eating crunchy things during movies in general. Too distracting.

Just saw a commercial for SEED OF CHUCKY.

...that looks like a movie to skip.

I think SAW will be a non-popcorn movie, because I'll be too frightened to eat. (Why did I agree to go see it? Can I change my mind??)

I'd be interested in seeing that as well. As long as I can cover my eyes during the intestine parts.

(I don't do the scarey movie thing too well...)
