OCU Summer Junior High Musical Theater Program

The Oklahoma City University Summer Music Program invites junior high students to join us for our renowned Junior High Musical Theater Program. Students receive classroom training in voice, acting and dance, plus perform in our OCU Stages production of "Cats."

Rising 6th graders through graduating 8th graders are invited to participate. Two sessions are available: June 17 - 30 and July 8 - 21. Financial aid consideration is available as well as a special All-State scholarship for those selected for their state's Music Educator's Association Middle School Choir program.

Each summer, students from around the nation travel to The OCU Summer Music Program for our acclaimed music training. Recently, the programs were featured in February's "Backstage" Magazine which spotlighted top summer programs.

Their website says that people who want to do the high school program (which is doing Les Miz) have to have their auditions in by this Friday.
