OCU Summer Music in Backstage

I was in my school drama teacher's office and looking through some old Backstage newspapers and in the summer training/camp section..suprise...there was Oklahoma City University Summer Music Program. They called it one of the leading summer camps in the nation. So good for them.

My friend who's going got freaked our cause she heard there was a tornado somewhere in Oklahoma this week. Anyone else here going?

My D will be going to the Vocal Arts and the second MT session. PM me if you'll be there then and I'll put you in touch(that goes for any of you that will be there then!)
As for tornadoes, the big one was in Kansas (tell Dorothy) and they know how to deal with them in Oklahoma City. All new buildings are built with "safe rooms" in them, and they rarely id ever touch down in a city becuase of the thermal patterns created by the heat of the buildings and concrete. Not to worry!

I'm going this summer for the first session of the mt program. I'm really excited. This will be my first time going!

Bumping this up to see if anyone else is going? They told me there are about 40 kids for each MT session and you are up and in the gym every morning BEFORE breakfast (I can't wait to see HOW they are going to get my D out of bed and into anything with exercise equipment before they feed her!). How about the Vocal Performance sessions? Anyone going?
