After campaigning against earmarks, he signed a massive bill today loaded with them. It was behind closed doors. It is a good thing we don't want to add to the deficit. It was filled with
pork - oink oink. The bankers are told they don't get it. I don't think politians & Obama get it either. Ah the perks of power.

I guess this the kind of Change he was talking about.

Roxy, Obama may be bringing change, but you haven't changed a bit - and never will! I love ya, your class superiority complex, and your ridiculous logic!

I'm a political cynic. IMO, there's no such thing as change in politics. Politicians are all cut from the same selfish cloth. Obama is no better, no worse, no different. Just more articulate. Although, he wasn't too articulate nor convincing this afternoon when he was trying to explain away his 'Earmark' hypocrisy.

Even if he's "just" "more articulate" than the last guy (the one Roxy used to defend until he didn't anymore) then you've just stated a profound way in which he is better, not worse, and different.

Point taken FN. You're free to look at it that way. IMO however, partisan politics is still partisan politics, and a lie is still a lie - no matter how articulately it's spoken.
