Unions requested special subsidies realizing their Cadillac health plans would be taxed. Since the elections are over for Obama, he basically told them to take a hike so watch for them to apply pressure to members on Congress
They now realize it is a bad plan but figured as long as they voted for Obama he would do them a solid. Payback is a *****
Obama apparently still jettisons those who he no longer has use for . It will be interesting how this plays out.
