Off beat brands of a soda.

Since we have a Coke and Pepsi thread, what are some favorite offbeat brands? I enjoy Dr. Brown's Celr-Ray or black cherry. The New Yorker in me still won't eata corned beef sandwich without CelRay.

Well, it's not really offbeat, but I love Seven Up Plus and Safeway's Flavored water.

Also not necessarily "off beat," but I love me some Fresca! I don't drink a lot of soda, but when I do, 99% of the time, it's Fresca! Mmmmm.

Soda's pretty bad all around. The crap made with high fructose corn syrup and the stuff made with NutraSweet have both contributed greatly to the obesity epidemic in the country. The body can't process that crap very well and it messes with the metabolism. The sodas made with cane sugar are delicious, but essentially they are bottles of cans of candy that, in the long run, just aren't very good for us.

I dont drink pop...but love a brand called 5alive...it's like a grapefruit soda. I also love Orangina!

I completely stopped drinking soda a couple months ago (which is actually a pretty big feat for me since I used to drink a can a day or so for lunch). But back in my soda drinking days, I was a huge Jones Soda fan. I loved the pictures on the bottles.

One of my favorites off beat brands is the Giant Eagle brand...the best one being their version of Dr Pepper...It is Mr Bob

There is a new brand of soda on the market called Dolly Pop. One sip and you have the urge to put on a long red gown and correct everyone's English.

My nutritionist does not want me drinking soda but Lime is divine.
I have to limit the lime and the wine.
Not so divine.

Just as long as you stay away from those horrid holiday flavors that Jones Soda puts out. Turkey & Gravy, Wild Hereb Stuffing, Brussel Sprouts, Cranberry and Pumpkin Pie. The last two may not be horrid, but the first three...yeesh.
