Glad you had fun at the show and backstage, that's really cool!

And the site looks great so far, Andrew!

I also wanted to let you guys know that Daniel now has a Myspace music page...it's dedicated mostly to his concert stuff and other live appearances (like Joe's Pub, New Voices, etc.), and also a few other recordings that he's done (right now the only non-live song on the page is "Mother Nature's Son"). We'll probably be switching the songs around every once in a while, since Daniel has a bunch of recordings that people haven't really heard yet...but yeah, the page is pretty cool John Lloyd Young Love Thread...so definetely feel free to add it! :]

eta: if for nothing else, go to the page to listen to "I Can't Walk On Without You"...the song is beautiful, and Daniel sounds AMAZING! Updated On: 3/17/07 at 11:09 PM

I would love to watch it but I have school the next day. I hope someone will post it on the nameless site afterwords.

Judy: The show hasn't aired yet. It will be on tomorrow night. They most likely won't be on until much later. Like near the end of the show. Thats when most of the musical guests perform on Leno.

Yay, thanks Erin! I don't usually watch Leno (prefer Letterman) so I assumed I'd forgotten and missed it. Can't wait to see the SF cast perform. :)

I've encouraged some relatives in the Bay Area to try to see the show also, or at least, to get the cast recording.

You're welcome Judy. I'm more of a Letterman person myself also.

Lori: My parents enjoyed the show very much. I hope you like it.

I started my new term today in school. I love Child Study which is when we get to work with the kids who attend the perschool at my high school. The litle girl who I worked with today was so cute.

I can't believe the JLY love thread is actually kinder to the tour cast than the people on the main board in the simple discussion thread. You guys rule! <3

I saw that thread yesterday. I haven't seen the performance on Leno yet so I can't comment on it. I'm still waiting for it to appear on the nameless site.

We also try to keep this a negitive-free area of the message boards.

Yeah, I didn't think that all of the bashing on the other thread was necessary. So maybe the cast as a whole was having a bit of an off-night, but it's obvious that they are all very talented, especially if you've seen any other promo clips. I just think it's awesome that they got to be on the Tonight Show in the first place, especially since they're a touring cast. John Lloyd Young Love Thread

Hope everyone's having a great week!

Hey guys!! I saw JB last night for the first time in like five months (I went with broadwayboobs...we needed our Jersey Boys fix!! haha) OMG. A year and a half after it has opened and the show is probably more fresh now than when I first saw it in November of 2005. JLY's voice has gotten amazingly better (if that is at all possible). Just had to gush...I really missed seeing those boys!!

Aww, thanks for posting, Andrea! I'm thrilled to read that the production seems even more fresh/alive now than before. Someone else on the main board mentioned seeing John on Tuesday night and said that he sounded better than ever (or something to that effect). Very nice to read.

I just watched the JB SF cast on Leno. :) How exciting for them! It took me awhile to get used to seeing/hearing a cast other than our Broadway cast, but I thought they were great. If they were nervous, it's understandable (the SA cast was great on Letterman but were probably nervous as well--plus it's reportedly cold in that studio!)

Besides, the national exposure is awesome. As some of you know, I started following Broadway and its current stars more closely
after seeing Idina on David Letterman a few years ago, singing Defying Gravity. And now I'm addicted (not to Wicked, but to Broadway in general).

Speaking of tours--and sorry this is OT--I'm excited that Katie Clarke is now on tour with Light in the Piazza. I saw Elena Shaddow and she was absolutely *amazing.* But I loved Katie as well, even if her performance on the PBS broadcast wasn't flawless.

Kathryn, if you're reading this...I hope you have a great time this weekend (I know you will).

Sorry I haven't been posting much... oh, the joys of tech week!

Opening night is tonight for Beauty and the Beast! I'm really excited. We had a preview show for local elementary and middle schoolers yesterday and they loved it!!

Ah I haven't seen Lost this week yet!! I have it on tape... I'm dying to see it!

Jersey Boys is going to London (according to jerseyboysblog.com)!

Yeah I would say you missed a lot of things. We learned how Locke got to be in the wheelchair and we learned more on his backstory. Plus a lot of things happened and it really helped boost the storyline. And the ending was crazy!!

You can watch it on abc.com or you can buy it on iTunes.

JB in London...Victoria/West End Wendy, where are you? :) You need to come back to this thread!

I'm really excited for the show. They've announced a bunch of cities. I wonder how many years it would take to come to my area, or at least to Washington, D.C.

I am a couple of episodes behind on Lost, but I am really enjoying this season. Same goes for Heroes.
