What has happened to you?

When I first joined everyone was a bit rude, like they are with everyone. but now I seem it fit in some what.

I have seen what the do to pretty much all of the newbies. So I will try and stick up for them if I can. (the newbies, not the meanies)

I have been scared start threads! I will join in on one every once in a while but for the most part I stick with the Jersey Boy threads, Jersey Boys has the nicest fan base on broadway.

People on this website can be so rude at times. It's so annoying. Which is why I tend to stay in this thread becuase it's nice in here.

Very cute pic Erin.

The only part I actually like Heather in is when she goes on for Erica. She is fine when she goes on for the others but her voice isn't as strong as Sara's for the lead angel and I do not like her as Mary at all. She isn't bad, just, she isn't the regular in the role. She is very good in Erica's parts though. That's just my opinion... love her, just not in certain parts.

Erin, love the picture! And I love the Brown cap, too.

I saw Heather go on for Erica when she was still on her honeymoon and I thought she did a good job, but I can understand how her voice may not be strong enough for the lead Angel. Nonetheless, I thought she was great in Erica's roles.

The Paper Mill rally is tonight, right? I can't wait to hear how it turned out.

I may have forgotten to mention it, but awhile ago, I heard that JERSEY BOYS was mentioned during a broadcast of a hockey game. One of my favorite players had gone to NY to see the show during the All-Star break, and the color analyst mentioned that fact during the game. I didn't actually hear what was said, because I missed it, but family and friends told me about it, LOL. Exciting to hear of JB being mentioned in contexts that you wouldn't expect, and of athletes going to see the show with their wives.

The "shopping Jersey style" scene is fantastic. And my favorite scene changes, but overall, it's probably still the Mary-Frankie date scene. What I love best about the show is the energy, talent and chemistry of the cast.

Speller, welcome to the thread! *waves* It is a really nice "place" on BWW. Seems appropriate, since the JB cast is so welcoming and respectful of their fans.

Besides JLY, other actors I admire include Norbert Leo Butz, Sherie Rene Scott (*points to avatar*), Raul Esparza, and Aaron Lazar. Also, in terms of music alone, currently I am hooked on Idina Menzel's and Adam Pascal's solo CDs, and the SPRING AWAKENING cast recording.

Yep I was there Saturday night. It was such an amazing show. Where did you sit? I was doing SRO.

Funny story that I have to share. Today my mom went to her kniting group. My dad printed out the picture of John and I for my mom. Well my mom showed the picture to the people in her group and one of the women asked "Is that her boyfriend?"

I don't know how many days are left. Still 7 weeks i think so about 35 here too. I just want summer to come so I can get out of school. I am so tired of essays and reading books and all of this other stuff. SOmetimes I think I.B. is too much work.

Corrie--I'm a student as well but not in high school. I'm a master's student attending classes part-time, as well as a copyeditor/proofreader. Before going back to school, I was a communications director for a nonprofit organization. I also enjoyed a stint as an editorial intern at a local publishing house.

Sounds like a boring life compared to that of a theatre actor, doesn't it? I wonder what it's like to be a member of the Spring Awakening cast. Young and on Broadway....
