Lori and Kristina, I am so glad that you both got something from John!!

He stamps the envelopes for you guys? I use my own. I'm always fearing someone won't send anything without them.

Yep he does, now if you were writting asking for a headshot or play bill I would stamp it but if you are just writing him he stamps it.

but anywho does anybody just love the stamps John puts on his envelopes? I do. the ones on the 8 by 10 one are like comic stuff like one says 'Supergirl' and the other says 'Flash'

He has comic book hero-themed stamps? Man, I always thought JLY was cool but now, even more so. While I don't have enough time to keep up as much as I would like, I love comics, LOL.

Last week I was watching an episode of HBO's Rome and was trying to picture JLY on either that show or The Sopranos. Purely hypothetical, of course, especially since Rome was canceled (I think)...and hasn't the Sopranos stopped filming?

Anyway, there's my midnight ramble...

Speaking of Daniel, Rachel - I would say Daniel is most likely staying. I think a friend of mine is going to ask him at the Flea Market tomorrow (or one of you should if you're going!), but from what he told me and from what I've heard from others, he really wants to stay, and will probably most likely be there, at least for a little while :).

OK well this is a bullshark question but does anybody think that JLY and Anthony Rapp look alike? i kinda think. I mean they both do VERY cute dances and they are like furturnal twins. Anthony is like the straight, blond hair version of John & John is like the curly, black hair version of Anthony. What do you think? Plus they are both very sweet! ask Anthony to do the pose he did with Tracey in RENT for a picture with him,he will! It's the pose when Tracey says "and you?"
I'm thinking of what to write to John right now. think Kristina, think! Plus I have curly hair, too! Just like John! We have a couple of things in common.

I love Anthony Rapp. I'm still sad that I missed him on the LSOH tour last year because he was filming RENT. *sigh*

Speaking of Jonathan Larson, it's interesting that Matthew Scott and Michael Ingersoll (the tour Nick Massi) have experience playing Jon in tick tick Boom, b/c that show, like JB, is (auto)biographical and uses narration. I love ttB.

I just revisited this interview with JLY with ActorsLife. It might actually be my favorite. Either orally or in print, he's such an articulate guy. If you're an actor, like Carole Ann, his insights might especially resonate with you. But even in general, I love reading what he has to say about success. It's not so much about finding it, per se, but creating your own opportunities by persistence, and having the confidence to follow through with them.

I'm starting to discover that building a career and finding success has much more to do with your own stubborn persistent effort to nudge the happenings of your life into the most compelling STORY you can fashion, instead of just blindly allowing yourself to just fall into anyone's lap who's willing to offer you a paycheck. I turned down lucrative chorus contracts at regional theatres in my very earliest years in New York and instead did avant-garde plays downtown for nothing more than a travel stipend. I certainly couldn't AFFORD to do that, but something in my soul told me it was the right thing to do.

Ok when you are in a situation (the ones that make you get into BIG trouble) do you always feel Christian and John standing on your shoulders telling you what to do as if they are debating on what you should do like Christian is like Tommy (BAD) and John is like Frankie (GOOD)? it happens to me ALL the time! BTW, some of the bios need to be updated, though. Vicki Clark is still listed as "currently" appearing in LITP.

I wish I could go, too, Kristina! I went to last year's, and it was so much fun. My friends are going to let me know how it is, though, and what's at the JB table :).

Right now, I'm looking at a hotel room for my birthday trip. Hotels in NYC are so expensive!
