Lori that line is my moms favorite,I hear it from her everyday...what about when Frankie introduces Bob Crewe to Bob Gaudio
Bob Crewe"Scorpio"
Bob Gaudio"no....Gaudio"
OMG that is too funny, yes
how about when Nick says "I think its time for me to start my own group." LOL!
I only saw the show 3 times, I'm suprised I remeber so much lol
I was just wondering girls since you two have seen the show can you post some of the lines that Lorraine, Mary ,and Francine say?
I told Jennifer Naimo my favorite line of hers is the "Valli with an "I" " I love those lines, because its so true!!! LOL
Well, I'm off. Got to take my dog MAJOR for a walk. Then I'm off to bed in awhile, off to another work week :-/ Talk to you later girls!!!
Yeah, that's right.
Keep those lines coming!
Hey everyone! I just realized this morning that John updated his blog. The JB cast had a busy weekend--they flew out to LA to perform at a gala. He also writes that Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas saw JB last week. I wonder if Broadway.com got photos of their visit? ITA with JLY and cast that CZJ should definitely do something on Broadway!
Edit: Jen Naimo answered my question about photos in her blog entry:
Bruce Glickas, from Broadway.Com took the photos…so hopefully they’ll be on that site soon.
Jen's entry is especially funny! I'd be starstruck if I saw CZJ in real life also!

Wow. I'm hear for a few more hours girls.............
Nicks Date "Nicky what are we doing in church I thought we were going to the movies"
Nick "Relax the kids ready to play a big room"
Nicks Date "But I wanna see the BLOB"
That line is funny too, it reminds me of Grease as well haha!
I'm here Lori!
Here's a line. Frankie tells Bob about being life long partners. I think. "You want a contract? Here. A Jersey Contract." I love that line.
Christina, you're not the only one who hates school. I have the day off!
I like the line that Tommy say in the beggining "He's a good kid, he just needs a little, you know, guidence."
The tickets for CATS came today...........
What about some of the funny lines John says.
Every line in JB is really witty and smart.
I love when Tommy says, "Let me explain something to you. You shoot somebody; you gotta shoot the witnesses too. This is a basic rule."
I forget the exact line, but Frankie's words about greatness are another favorite. "Some men are born great, others achieve greatness and then f*** it up"?
And the back and forth arguing between Bob and Tommy while they're in jail, when Tommy tells Bob to lighten up and maybe he'd get a new song out of the experience. So funny.
And of course, Nick's "When there are four guys, and you're Ringo...." Bobby Spencer's line delivery is perfect.
I got a letter from John today and a signed headshot! I didn't realize the headshot was so big, its neat
Hey, guys! Thanks for all the bday wishes! I had a great time after waiting on the rush line from 4:40 in the morning! I went to the show on Friday, and that was the one Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas were at. She's beautiful in person! The cast was so so so sweet to me that day, and it made it one of the best days I've ever had.
Long story, but I also saw JB yesterday, and during intermission, my friend Stephanie and I met Erich Bergen, who is the Gaudio on tour (a lot of the tour cast had been watching the show that week). He's such a nice guy! They just ended rehearsals. They're changing some choreography and adding some lines to the tour, and he says everyone in the cast is wonderful.
ALSO, they have a new female swing at JB! Her name is Rebecca Kupka (I don't have her insert at this moment, so forgive spelling!). She went on Saturday night for Sara. I thought they needed one more swing besides Heather, so I'm glad they have a new one.
Thanks for the heads up re: the pictures, Christina! They are fantastic! I love the first one of JLY and CZJ. Gotta love those three-name phenoms.

Awesome Elle!! I'm glad you got to see it twice hehe!
Wow 4:40 in the morning holy moly! I'm hoping you were the first ones there!
Thats so cool about Catherine-Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas being there, the pictures on Broadway.com are cute!

Welcome to BWW Alicia! Hope you enjoy it here.
Christina did you see Lost tonight? Great episode, but can they get rid of the blonde chick that went with Locke to the hatch? She's so annoying. Bring back Rose!
Hey everyone! Lori and Erin, thanks for keeping this thread on top. :)
I feel bad for not keeping up with LOST. I've been caught up in hockey fever, and the only show I am watching consistently is Ugly Betty.
Welcome to the thread (and BWW), Alicia! If you're a JLY fan and a JB lover, you're definitely in the right place. I love Christian's blog. I wish he was able to update as often as John and Jen. Did anyone send him a card to congratulate him and Melissa on the baby?

Wow, I haven't been around in forever. I saw Grey Gardens and Hairspray too. I really liked Grey Gardens, I'd like to see how they adapted it into a musical.

I like that they got another swing too. I always thought that Heather was really brave for taking on the part as the only female swing.
I went walking around last night, with my little sister and mom. I didn't get any candy, but it was fun to see all the cute little kids in their costumes!
Today I also got to help out with my school's mock election. It was fun too, even though all I did was check ID's.
