Who else remembers this hideous film from the last 70s starring Lily Tomlin and John Travolta as LOVERS - written and directed by Tomlin's lesbian lover, Jane Wagner?

It is a campfest laugh riot - from Lily's first scene as a bitchy customer at the old Schwabb's on Sunset Boulevard to Lily and John's TRAGIC lovemaking scene in a hot tub (with matching hair dos)

And to top it all off - Travolta's character's name is STRIP. Yes, like in 'drop em. And Lily just loves saying his name:

"Oh STRIP!"

It was the Making Love of straight people. Without the straight people.

So Namo, are you trying to compare those to the love making scenes of your favorite film of 2005? re: 'Oh Strip!' -- the official MOMENT BY MOMENT appreciation thread

Well, I actually forgot to put in my favorite exchange of dialogue. Travolta tells Tomlin during an arguement:

"I'm tired of cheap sex, it makes me feel cheap"

and Tomlin responds with:

"I have never had cheap sex, I was looking forward to it".

How's that for bad? Perhaps the DVD Gods will someday release this at Blockbuster.
