That's actually kind of sad.
But, if you want deer, come to where I live. I can guarantee you will hit at least one in your life with your car. They even run onto the highway and run into the sides of buses. That is actually a true story.

Tell me about it. Where I live they are EVERYWHERE. At night you can see groups of them just hanging out on people's lawns. I had a near encounter with one a couple weeks ago. I was driving someplace and a deer jumped out not 20 feet in front of my car. Fortunately I wasn't going that fast and I was able to avoid a collision. But it definitely startled me.
