Just absolutely heartbreaking.

She was very young to die and a dedicated Democrat. Sad news for her family and friends!
Rest in peace to a wonderful woman.
Among other great achievements, she had a 100% rating from the Human Rights Campaign, and she fought for same-sex domestic partner benefits, funding for AIDS treatment and prevention, stricter hate crimes laws, and against the banning of gay adoption over her career.
Don't know much about her, but it's terrible news.
Condolences to her family.
This is sad news! She was one of the good guys, she will be missed.
She was a remarkable person.
I had the honor of meeting this great woman several times. She was an example of a leader who cared about her constituents and fought for human rights of all.
She will be greatly missed and my thoughts are with all of her friends and family
I saw this on the news. Very sad.
I was lucky enough to have known the Congresswoman, and talked to her on an almost daily basis last semester. I was a House Page, and I can't think of a more genuine member of Congress that her.
Ms. Tubbs-Jones helped organize a charity basketball game in DC every year, with a team comprised of Members of the Congress playing against a Georgetown law professors team. She coached the House team this year, and they ended up breaking a 10 year losing streak in a tripple over time. We (the Pages) were the only people there to cheer for the House team (outnumbered at least 4 to 1 by the Georgetown students),and immediately rushed on the court afterwords and celebrated with Ms. Tubbs-Jones. I've never seen anyone as genuinely excited as she was after that game, and the next day at work bragging about it to her colleagues. There were tears rolling down her cheeks, and the next day on the Floor she thanked us in a 1-minute speech. She was a tremendous, caring woman who I will never forget.

She reminded me of Barbara Jordan. We can ill-afford to lose women of this nature.
RIP, and peace to her friends and family.
I seriously have to say I'm heart broken.
These are the people that represent people like us. There are only a few and she was one.
God bless her.
