Ohio boys Coming to the City...

and we need your help!! Where should we go out to while we are there? Want to have some fun and see the gay night life when not in the theatres...

We will be there next Tuesday through Sunday, April 12 thru the 17th and staying on 35th at the Roger Williams! Help!

Well I am gay but I hate the gay scene. While I would love to take our boys here out, I hate the gay scene and most of the people caught up in it so I don't know if I'm the best one to do that. I usually steer clear of all gay clubs and stuff...I'm more of a bar kind of guy.

lol.....and the last time I was in any kind of a bar was in Grand Cayman in March 2002....and I can't even remember the last gay bar, maybe Daddys in SF in 1999?

the older one gets the less important they seem, but I used to love them......

There are PLENTY of places you can go and just chill with your friends. Plenty. I do it all the time. I am no giant fan of the cruisy gay scene in NYC either.

What I really don't understand is why so many people (no one in particular) only go to gay bars. OBviously, if you're into random hookups and cruising, but I'd much rather spend my time in a regular bar.

I've found plenty of gay bars where the vibe is not, "who am I going home with tonight?"
And I have a good time there. I do go to "straight" bars on occasion so I'm certainly not opposed to going wherever, but if you're looking to glimpse the gay scene, even a low-key gay bar is, well, better than a straight one. :)

I am not sure what the agenda is of my friends who are going on the trip...many of 'um are a little loose and will want to go to the cruiser places I am sure. We just want to have fun and meet the locals and drink and laugh and...



If any of you will be out and about we should exchange info so you can get in touch with all of us! We will probably be the raucous ones at any given bar on any given night next week!
