The Guardian newspaper in England gave out addresses of voters in Ohio so that their readers could write and urge them not to vote for Bush.

Here are some of the American responses back.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Wow--not only are the negative responses so incredibly mature and full of intelligence, they are forgetful that Britain was one of the few countries that has supported Bush and the U.S.

This election does affect the rest of the world, and I am glad that the rest of the world cares. Our smug arrogance and hubris is going to lead to our downfall if we are not careful...

I'm just impressed that so many Ohioans understand the intricacies of international mail.

the REALLY funny thing about this is that Clark County, Ohio is where I'm originally from!

What a stupid place to try to find Kerry supporters!

I mean seriously, the three largest organizations at the high school I went to were the ROTC, the FFA, and the Young Republicans!

TOOOOO FUNNY!

I mean, for God's sake! The Congressional seat for that area has been held by a Republican for like 100 years! Really!

I'll say it again, What a STUPID place to try to find Kerry supporters.

I mean, it's almost like they sent it to a strongly pro-Bush area EXPECTING to get ignorant and amusing replies that they could then reprint in their newspaper.

Ya think?

I'm just glad they didn't send us those in Wyandot County...They'd have gotten more than amusement out of my reply. re: Ohio vs Britain

Namo...I don't have alot of power, but I'm not sure you know it but Brits offending other Brits is usually rather embarrasing. re: Ohio vs Britain
