What the HOLY HECK is that boy doing getting wrapped up in cheesy overrated mainstream movies!?
When I heard that he sang, I brushed it off figuring that it was another one of those cases of "Hollywood stars trying to sing and occasionally somewhat pulling it off".
I was sorely mistaken.

Now seriously. Why on EARTH would anyone that legitimately talented go for mainstream Hollywood movie garbage!? I mean, don't get me wrong, I think he's probably a much better actor too than Twilight would let on, but still. I was just so taken aback by how ACTUALLY fantastic he is as a musician! Not just "oh, he has a nice voice I suppose", but like... I would buy his CD if he made one. In a HEART BEAT. If I heard music like that on the radio I'd never for a second think it could possibly someone who was just in an entertaining but horridly overrated and not-at-all-legitimate mainstream movie!
Just.. had to share :)
Seriously though, can he make a CD please? Like, yesterday? I've never been terribly enamored with him as an actor, but as a musician? HECK YES.

hahaha about the weed- it's true :P
And yeah the enunciation is def not the greatest. I guess I'm kind of used to that though because, though I listen to tons of show tunes, my other regular listening consists of lots and lots of Hanson. And.. the Hansons do NOT enunciate well. At all.
You learn that lyrics searches are your best friends
(and more often than not, once you KNOW the lyrics to a song, they become infinitely more clear when you listen to the song more)
But yeah, I just love the soulfulness of the songs, the crazy good guitar playing, and the beautiful rich tone of his voice. Def not denying it's hard to understand what he's saying though haha
