Smart move. And I like Olbermann. But yeah...too much bitching at each other, too much CRAP.

re: Olbermann and Matthews booted from political coverage.

Give me the good ole days of Chet Huntley and David Brinkley. Maybe I was too young and naive to realize it, but I can't recall their personal biases showing up when they covered politics. I'm really tired of having to wade through political coverage from so called unbiased news sources, that reek of nothing but partisanship.

It would be really great, if we were just given the facts...and be allowed to come to our own conclusions, I don't need or want to have every thing spun. Just lay it ALL out, the good the bad and the ugly and allow us poor dumb suckers to decide for ourselves.

I've watched Olbermann become so full of himself, that he's almost impossible to watch...and as far as I'm concerned Matthews doesn't deserve to be a part of any network. This guy is not a journalist.

I'm not surprised and it's one of the reasons I've been weaning myself off MSBC lately, but Fox News is no better and probably worse.

On Saturday, I was flipping the channels and came across Fox News coverage of the McCain campaign's "use" of 12,000 leftover/abandoned/dumped (take your pic) flags from the Democratic convention. The manipulation of the Republican campaign, impugning that that they were found by a dumpster, therefore proving once again that Democrats hate the flag and are unpatriotic, was obnoxious and offensive enough, but Fox just ran with it.

Fair and balanced, my ass.

I don't think it was their beliefs that got them booted. I think it was their sniping at each other on air. At least twice, they were at each other on air. If we want to see fighting, we'll watch Jerry Springer.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Could it possibly be that we are seeing the beginnings of the fall of the Gasbag Empire?

Sarah Palin = Trailer Trash

It's too bad Jerry Springer isn't still doing his show. What a great place for the Palins to be interviewed. After all, they personify trailer trash better than anyone else I've ever seen.

Sarah Palin = Trailer Trash

When did Jerry Springer stop doing his show?

Sarah Palin = Trailer Trash

Am I the only one bummed out by this? I think Olberman rules. Much better watching them than Wolf Blitzer at CNN or the guys on Fox. I didn't think they were so bad... at least Countdown is still on.
