Mutual of Omaha and the 20 mule team -- presented by Borax.
What was the old codger's name who introduced each episode.
Episode -- there's an OLD word for you.

Posted: 4/15/04 at 10:21amDoesn't Penny hold some sort of record for being in distress the most of any heroine on TV?

Alias: Smith & Jones
Lasted but a few, never popular, and Original lead Peter Duel was a suicide...he was replaced for a season...but the show never made it
Not a classic, but I was young...oh well....I liked it ok...

Posted: 4/15/04 at 5:42pmThere was also a show about Jesse James. I don't recall that it was especially good, but I *do* remember the guy who played Jesse was quite attractive. I'm thinking his name was Christopher Jones, maybe.

The name of the host of Death Valley Days was the old ranger a/k/a the old fart
By the way, The Wild Wild west was cancelled not by por ratings but by the anti violence police. They tried to placate them with James West not wearing a six shooter but it was not enough. What a pity. It was on cable for awhile here in NYC & I hope it pops up again. Throughly enjoyable escapist fare
