Did they show English subtitles when she spoke Czech? They didn't here, but I guess that's understandable. I'm just interested to know whether or not important lines like "No, I love you" (said when he is asking about whether she loves her husband) were shown, or whether they were simply implied...
But yeah, I really loved this film. Really beautiful, very understated and subtle. I loved the ending!
There were no English subtitles. I actually didn't even get the gist of it while in the theater, it took me until I looked it up on IMDB to understand.

Wow, I didn't realize that, either. That breaks my heart even more! What a beautiful movie. I dug up the soundtrack last night, actually, and listened to it for the first time in a while. I'm excited for it to come out on DVD...perfect timing for Christmas gifts!
