Other then theatre...

So! What are some of you hobbies, intrests, or passions besides the theatre? I ride horses and compete all over the east coast. It's really fun and my horses are the best!

there are things out there that don't relate to theatre? How bizarre!

ETA: Okay, that was quite shallow of me, since now I see everyone spent time actually answering this... so here goes...

Other than theatre, I spend a good portion of my life hanging out with my kids, working, playing on the computer (used to wander all over the internet before I found this place, and now I'm pretty much an addict), doing suburban things (working in the garden, cutting the grass, cleaning the house, etc., etc.) I'm an avid reader, fan of baseball and football, and I'll go to the movies at the drop of a hat... (there, I now feel cleansed. TYVM)

I used to ride horses but mine had to be put down

Now I am in school and working and that takes up most of my time. While I am at work I am on here all the time though. For fun I read, go to the park with my dogs and just try to relax and spend lots of time with my husband

Aw. There's nothing worse than having to pur down an animal. On eof mine bumped his eye last night, or the night before, and it was swollen and i saw it and nearly cried. Poor guy. He's old too, like, 20 by now. And, I'm off to a horse show as we speak. Good old PA, here I come.

I love animals too... I have seven pets. I also like to make things and sew and play guitar. I wish I was rich, because fabric is EXPENSIVE. lol
I'm also very into learning about my family, like tracing family trees really far back (geneology, maybe?)

I like to travel around the world, I am a big Yankees fan, I love amusement parks and roller coasters, I love going to the beach.

Besides theatre and music, which are my vocation...

I enjoy finding, restoring and refinishing old furniture. A drive into the more rural areas for a fleamarket/antique auction is a great way to spend a Saturday in the summer. It sure beats the hell out of paying way too much to some fancy antique shop.

Violin! Piano! Jazzay Guitar!!!

I used to horseback ride, but once you jump at four feet for a month or so, the exhilaration wears out.

EDIT: I just realized how incredibly cocky that sounded. My horse was just amazing though. It was a jumper champ in it's past life, so it was so easy to ride him. Sorry! >___< I also love track. :)

Men.
Jazz. Comedy. Writing restaurant reviews.
I love NY! NY is my number one passion.
My niece and nephews are also up there.
I love them!
PS Singing is another passion.

FYI, the correct title for this thread would be "Other than theatre...", not "Other then theatre..."

That said, my other hobbies are:

Movies
Reading

Listening to music
Running, jogging, and working out

Animals (dogs, particularly)

I used to ride Horses as well...

I love to watch movies, play baseball, umpire baseball games, play hockey, make picture frames (crafty), play games with my nephews and nieces, swimming, seaching for wireless internet, collect Playbills, and more things I can't think of right now...

I like to make floral art... pressing flowers and leaves and arranging them in frames.

Can I tell you all how much I love having a laptop? Lol. Just got back from the show, and am waiting for mom to come to the hotel room so we can go get some chinese food! And, Algoo, are you sure you've jumped four feet
? Height is FAR different between people and teh height of jumps. I've been riding for like, 14 years, and I've only jumped four feet a handful of times, and that's only been recently. PM me, because I"m curious how long you rode for.

Also, I like hockey a lot. Not too much Ack! Sher's here! Pos tmore later!

Yeah, I know, but I refuse to believe it b/c it looks wrong to me with just one 'l' so I usually use 2, even though I know it's wrong. Europeans spell it with 2 l's though.
