Ouija Boards: Your opinion

Just got back from a friends house after a night of Texas Hold 'Em that (somehow, god only knows) led to a few of us fooling around on my friend's homemade cardboard Oujia Board. I came into it skeptical, became a believer half-way through, and eventually left his apartment even more sure that it's complete bull**** than before. I'll spare details about all that was "channeled," but let's just say the "spirit" we contacted seemed to know everything about my friend (the hardcore believer) and speant a lot of time answering HIS questions and what not. I had enough of it and I (mistakenly, now that I think about it) told my friend I had enough and I knew he was moving the pointer, which I'll swear with every bone in my body that I could see he was doing. I just....I dunno....anyone else's experience with this also lead to believe it's just a bunch of hooey?

wouldn't touch one of these things. A friend of mine did one with some women she worked with. The board spelt out go visit (enter womans name here) and no one knew anyone by that name other than my friend. She didn't say anything at the time but she did go round the womans house... she dies a few days later. My dad was in the navy and they used to mess about with them... he wont say what happened but says it's not a good idea to mess about with things like that. I have so many stories of people i actually know who've done them and then strange or bad things happened.

I think they are really freaky. One day when I was nine my friends and I were playing with the Ouija boards, then we went out to play and my friend fell out of the tree we were climbing and broke both legs. Also my priest says they are bad and that is good enough for me.

I was at a houseparty the other week and everyone was drunk and someone said about doing one then. I had to leave the room as they were setting it up on the table... i mean messing round with things like that is stupid, but messing round when you're drunk is just mental. I'm a strong beleiver in things like that!

Once I was playing with one and it told me I would become obsessed with a Broadway message board and that my screen name would be Broadwayboobs and that I would post a chuckle on this board Monday - Friday. How freaky is that?

lol. I just....I dunno....still total bull**** to me.

**edit** beergoogles....are you saying your friend died or the woman? either way, I can't believe that the ouija board had any direct influence. (no offense) of course, if I die in the next few days, I'll let you know. lol

I dunno what to think about the ouija boards because my friend who fell out of the tree is so supersticious that she probably triggered her fall, but it seriously just seems like a stupid game to play anyways. People move the little pointer all the time, whether it be intentional or subconsciously.

It is a bit weird about your friend's friend though.
