Ovation Awards

So, I went to the awards on Monday, and although I didn't get the prize (Vicki Lewis - the redhead from News Radio - won), I had a great time, anyway!!

Neil Patrick Harris was a brilliant host/MC, Annette Bening gave a wonderful acceptance speech, and Garry Marshall was freakin' hilarious as a presenter. Yeardley Smith and Adrian Pasdar presented, too... He's extremely cute in person!

Anyway, here are a few pics...none of the actual ceremony, though. (And they'll be in separate posts...I never did figure out the multiple pics in one post, thing. Sorry!)

Erika- you did win the prize! Not only were you nominated and got to go to a pretty cool shindig, but you looked fabulous and have BWW supporters all over the world! Congrats on a great night! I wish I could see your White Christmas performance but I'm leaving for NY tomorrow. Someday, I'll get back to the West Coast so my kids can see that side of the business. Have a wonderful holiday! mom

re: Ovation Awards

Look at the big sign! :-P

n69n: Awwwwww... Thanks! It was fun to get dressed up for a change. Dressed up in something that isn't a costume, that is. re: Ovation Awards

supportivemom: See? More proof as to why your BWW name is so appropriate! You're supportive of everyone, not just your daughter! re: Ovation Awards Thanks so much, and do let me know if you ever come out this way...maybe I'll be doing something you can come see. re: Ovation Awards

re: Ovation Awards

Me, getting interviewed...

Mamie: Thanks! I actually had a recording session all day (on my one "day off"), and had barely enough time to drive home, get ready, and get back over the hill to the awards (which were held downtown in an old historic theatre). I'm just glad it came together! :-P

Erika, you look so gorgeous here! I'm glad it was a fun night.

And I agree with mom wholeheartedly... you're definitely a winner all around.

Gosh, thanks, guys! What a lovely way to start a two-show day! re: Ovation Awards

Oh, and this pic is of me with my friend Richard Israel (very talented actor and Managing Director of West Coast Ensemble) and my agent, Victoria Morris.

DGG: You are too kind! But thank you very much. re: Ovation Awards

I forgot to mention that Sleeping Beauty Wakes won in two categories: Musical Direction and World Premiere Musical. Hooray!
