PM trouble

I tried to send a PM to a poster on a thread and when I clicked on PM- a page came up to say join the discussion group- register here. I can't get past this page to send the PM. Can anyone help? Thanks!

supmom - that's happened to me before. I just went to the main message page (by clicking on the new messages link, even if you don't have any.) From there, you can input a screen name directly to send a pm.
