Hey folks,
I was wondering why they didn't choose someone from teh cast to sing "Learn to be Lonely" for the Oscars. I'm sure they would be willing to do it, so why weren't they asked?

I read in a magazine that they didn't ask anyone besides Beyonce. It said that Minnie was devastated when she wasn't asked to sing it.

I thought "Learn To Be Lonely" was better than the dreck that won...

And I don't even like ALW's music very much...

And Minnie deserved SOMETHING for her portrayal of Carlotta...If that something was singing at the Oscars, so be it...

She was the best part of the movie...

Apart from looking at Patrick and Gerard...

I don't really think that Minnie Driver really deserved anything... but I don't understand why they would ask Beyonce and not someone from the movie cast. It justs seems stupid to me, and if I was in the movie... I'd be really upset.
