So even Karl Rove said there is no way the infatuation with Palin could last 60 days. And now it seems it may be already wearing off.

With Obama ahead in the polls again I saw a piece on the Today show this morning that pretty much questioned everything Palin has said. And it's the first time I've seen this done in the mainstream media. The report focused on how most of her talking points have turned out to be false:

"I've been in charge of 20% of the Nation's domestic energy"
In reality Alaska is responsible for only 3.5% of the Nation's domestic energy

"I've been to Iraq"
Alaska National Guard says not true. Palin has never been to Iraq.

"I've been to Ireland"
Yeah...on a layover at the airport.

"Most other former candidates for Vice President would tell you they have not met foreign leaders either"
Every candidate for VP since Pearl Harbor has had experience meeting with foreign heads of state...except Palin and Agnew.

"I don't want your bridge to nowhere"
She did support the bridge until congress stopped supporting. And she kept the money that congress had given her. And she is still developing other bridges going to the same place.
