the sidekick was hacked, so hackers have a certain way of typing much like omfg i <3 IdInA!!!

leet haxor means elite hacker.

You can't really find the list anymore because the FBA Secert Service Agents went around to every internet site and contacted the people on the site and threaten legal action if the numbers/email addresses/pictures were not taken down.

If she's dumb enough to make a porn vid, she's dumb enough to let her sidekick get hacked.

I just love how famous people can be so stupid. If I made a porn vid, no one would care...much less pay tons of money to buy it. Not that I'd ever do that, but hey. I'm just saying.

Yeah, it couldn't be a case of hackers being able to hack just as easily into YOUR stuff, it's just Paris Hilton being irresponsible. Can we be more ignorant? Hackers like attention, so people know what they can do.

Keep all that personal info. on your sidekicks and hand held internets, kids, Big Brother is watching ... and he's not working for the government anymore.

But I'm not famous...or known...so who cares about my stuff? It's like what I said about Prince Harry doing his nazi/drugs thing. If he was like any other teenager know one would care. It's like me.. I get drunk and do stupid stuff, but does it end up on the evening news? No.

You're missing the point, again.

The point is the hackers can get into the sidekick system. If you think the real issue is that someone wanted Paris Hilton's information, well, I don't know what to tell you. I agree no one could possibly care about your stuff, other than people who know what they can do with a social security number, an address, a phone number or a credit card number, regardless of who that information actually belongs to.

The big issue is the fact that hackers can get into the personal information many, many people are storing in the Sidekick system, information that can lead to identity theft, credit card fraud and all sorts of major legal problems for people down the road who are probably, if they're as ignorant as you seem insistentent on being, completely missing the gravity of the situation.

The Secret Service isn't looking into this because Christina Aguilera's phone number is on the internet, after all.

www.thedilly.com has some pictures..but doesn't give out the information.

And i know hackers can do all sorts of stuff, and if they want to waste their time with me, then more power to 'em. I consider myself to be pretty safe when it comes to what I share and don't share.

"I consider myself to be pretty safe when it comes to what I share and don't share."

Odds are, Paris Hilton did too.

For some reason, I just felt compelled to print out the address book.

Why the hell would any of you want the phone #'s? What are you going do to with them? You think Ms. Lohan really wants to hear from you? Get a grip.

Because these people are famous and therefore have no privacy.

Yeah, whatever vague interest there would be in having Anna Kournikova's phone number was pretty quickly erased once I thought for even a second about what I might possibly have of interest to say to her.

'Hey, Anna, John Popa here, guy in Ohio. You're, uh, hot and ... uh, that makes me glad and ... tingly ... or something. So, how are you?'

I found the list on ONE search. I wanted to see if I could still find it and I did! It's really sad that people would actually call these poor people that they don't even know! Yes, they are famous, but if you don't know them personally, why would you call? It sucks for Paris, and all the others on that page.

For me, I've always been interested in the constructs of celebrity email addresses. Do they do anything different to guise them?

I know some who have spelled their last name in reverse a la
EMANTSAL@hotmail.com. Some that pick something random, a la BOOGEYNIGHTS@msn.com... It suprised me on first glance that most are the standard FLastname@blah.com. I would never contact any of these folks. It's just interesting to me in a nerdy kind of way.

There's one intriguing listing in there with relevance to this site... anyone find it?

Um... strange.
I mean it sounds hot to me, but totally not related to this thread unless you the producer of 'The Simple Life' and the two girls are Paris and Nicole.

I'm thinking perhaps OSG got ahold of the cell #'s for both Ms. Lohan and Ms. A. Olsen and started something he/she didn't mean to?
