Just watched this documentary on Netflix Instant. It spelled out a lot of what's wrong with our country's economy, and why.
Middle-class and low-class Americans take no action to fight these politicians and corporations. Mostly, I believe this is because nearly all of us are uninformed and do not understand the "politics" of it all.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors.
