My friend and I are taking her niece to NYC for a weekend in June. Even though gas prices are atan all time high and she drives a SUV, my friend decided that she wants to drive to the city.
Anyway, is there a good, kind of responably priced place to park? I have been to the city several times but I have always taken a train or a bus. The few time that I have driven in was only for a day and I found the prices resonably priced (I'm from Boston and found the price of parker actually a little cheaper than Boston).
Thank you!
There are MANY parking garages, especially in midtown. The price of parking is just like everything else here - expensive.
Find a garage in Jersey and take the train/bus into the city.
You'll save a ton of money and won't have to worry about the stress of driving in bumper to bumper New York traffic.
There is a bus stop/park and ride in North Bergen, NJ. It only costs a little over $8 for the first adult, as they assume you are parking your car there. And then $4 and some change for the remaining adults. It brings you into Port Authority.
