Some of the wonderfully talented ladies and gentlemen of the past who all celebrated their birthdays in June. They're gone - but their contributions to the entertainment world will make them live forever in our hearts and our memories:

Thanks for the memories, Mamie - and the tears. So many that were lost too soon
Another GREAT one Mamie..thank you. I love that I share my B-day with Gilda Radner...she was a brilliant comedienne.

So many good tributes, thanks for the great thread as usual.
Yay Mamie!
Thanks!
I never realized that Moe Howard was a Gemini. We're in good (and wacky) company, Mamie!
I can't believe that It's been 3 years already since Spaulding Gray died. It still saddens me.
PJ, that is picture is something else. Mamie, I have to say, not only are the pictures you find beautiful, but I admire that you celebrate the months in which they were born. Too often we mourn death dates to the extent that they over-shadow birthdays. After all, these people will live!
Ms. Penny-- His passing saddens me as well. Did you see the play "Stories Left to Tell"?
Thanks Mamie, I always look forward to these at the beginning of each month!
Stunning photos all around!

.....i never will forget Jeanette Mac Donald.....
Yeah. I know what you mean. Just to think of her, it gives my heart a "Pang!"
But seriously, if you have never experience what was great about Jeannette--this is the exciting "Beyond the Blue Horizon" sequence from Ernst Lubitsch's Monte Carlo--one of the most exciting musical numbers ever filmed.
