I also saw this today and found his sermon to be very powerful. However, the gentleman texting in back of him at around 3:07 was being very rude.

I can't tell from that video how well it went over. Some seemed to agree with him, but there appeared to be dissent, too.

Yes. But good for him. There is still a lot of homophobia and bigotry in the black community and in their churches. It needs to be addressed.
