paul ryan's a very serious man. very serious. however, he does absolutely nothing to make mittens any more electable. in fact, he tilts things further to barry. let's face it, joe, between you me and the st. andrews cross, mittens was never gonna win this thing. at best he might have made it a close race.
i can't in good conscience vote for him no matter who his running mate is - the standard exception is of course unless he manges to somehow get me that 48 hours of naked wrestling time with scarlett johansson in which case, f*ck the country, he's got my vote.
there's a theory on the right in those think tanks that mittens can win an election about big issues, but will lose one about small stuff. it's been postulated by morons who evidently don't remember the last time the gop tried to make a serious attempt at reforming social security - hint: epic fail!
but c'mon, no veep pick was gonna save this abortion of a candidate. hell, he needed this pick to shore up his support within the f*cking gop! his own party!
i'd have been more likely to vote for ryan as a candidate. not sure i could have given is staunch catholicism and its effects on his voting, but maybe. as it is, it'll probably "the rents too damn high" guy. again.
